GUE PSCR, also presented by GUE as the PSCR - RB80 course, is advanced rebreather training for technical divers who want to extend bottom time and depth beyond what open-circuit equipment can safely support. The official page focuses on the Halcyon Passive Semi-Closed Rebreather, including its design, operating principles, and the prevention and resolution of failures. This is not a casual rebreather introduction; it is a technical tool course for divers already operating at a high level.

The course is created for experienced GUE Tech 2 divers, or CCR-T2 divers, who have accumulated meaningful technical diving experience. GUE lists prerequisites including minimum age 18, fitness to dive, swimming ability, non-smoking status, medical clearance when needed, completion of GUE Tech 2 or GUE CCR-T2, and at least 25 logged Tech 2 or CCR-T2 level dives after the relevant certification. Drysuit experience requirements apply if the course is conducted in a drysuit.

Training is designed to educate divers in basic passive semi-closed rebreather technologies and develop proficiency using GUE-approved PSCR configurations. GUE describes the course as normally five days, with at least eight dives, 40 hours of instruction, classroom lectures, land drills, and at least 10 hours of in-water work. In High Springs, Florida, it is a specialized option for serious technical divers preparing for longer and more complex missions.
