PADI Tec 100 CCR is the highest PADI Tec CCR diver rating and a major step beyond Tec 60 CCR. The course is built around planning and making Type T CCR dives using hypoxic trimix or heliox to a maximum depth of 100 metres/330 feet. At this level, divers manage multiple bailout cylinders, multiple decompression stops, and gases that demand exact planning before the dive ever begins.
This course is only for highly experienced CCR technical divers. PADI lists Tec 60 CCR Diver qualification on the specific Type T CCR used for training, at least 175 dives, and substantial unit experience with an offboard bailout system. The official page also specifies at least 50 dives and 100 hours on that CCR, including 25 multistop decompression dives deeper than 40 metres/130 feet using trimix or heliox diluent.
Training normally focuses on meticulous dive planning, hypoxic gas management, bailout logistics, decompression execution, life-support problem solving, and team procedures under demanding conditions. In High Springs, Florida, it is a capstone-level pathway for divers preparing for serious deep CCR projects. Successful students should leave with a more exacting approach to risk, redundancy, and decision making on their specific rebreather.
