Build Wreck Diving Awareness
IANTD Limited Wreck Diver is represented on the current IANTD site by the Wreck Diver program, which focuses on developing wreck diving skills within the limits of light penetration. That is the key point for this course: wrecks are interesting places to explore, but they require different thinking than ordinary open-water sightseeing.
The course fits divers who already have some post-entry-level experience and want a structured introduction to wreck procedures. IANTD lists prerequisites for Wreck Diver as Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent, minimum age 15 for full diver qualification with parent or guardian authorization when needed, and proof of at least 10 logged dives.
